Samantha Sarelli is the reigning Miss Connecticut Teen USA 2020 and a Miss Teen USA semifinalist. She is also a sophomore at Trinity College with plans to double major in Economics and Biology, with a minor in Human Rights. After graduation, she hopes to attend Yale Law School and pursue a career as a civil rights attorney. Samantha speaks three languages and is proud of her Albanian family and heritage. Bullying prevention and human trafficking are two causes Samantha supports. She created the Instagram account “Spread Kindness with Sam" to share inspiring stories and spread awareness of people who have been bullied. She is also an ambassador for United Against Bullies where she has gone to various elementary and middle schools and shared her bullying story with students. Samantha also started a video series called “Human Trafficking: Victims without Voices” to shed light on this global phenomenon impacting women and children around the world. She has hosted various virtual events to teach people the signs of human trafficking and how we can put an end to this billion dollar industry.
