The current Ms. DMV, Selamawit Yirga. Ethiopian born, a graduate of Dill University where she studied literature; subsequently, at Wegagen College, she studied film; and trained to become a model at Hurra Modeling School. Selected as “Miss green Hawassa, Ethiopia,” Ms. Yirga is currently a brand ambassador for Tatiana Cole design; a DUR Doux top model of 2019 and a cover girl for many Fashion magazines, including VOGUE. She believe that the sky is the limit. Her goal is to become more involved with the fashion industry, I would love to be a true expert with success and experience to grow into the role of super model. She want to use my beauty and my career for the “greater good.” I want to leave a positive change in the world. It is her plan to become a source of motivation for the younger generation and she strongly wants her son Christian to make him very proud of her.
